Bilbao Bag
Artisan's Notes
The Bilbao Bag in handwoven leather and wicker is an ode to Guggenheim Museum in the the city of Bilbao, Spain. For the museum, architect Frank Gehry was inspired by the ship’s sails that went through Bilbao's port, and the silhouette of this bag follows a similar shape. The Bilbao Bag was the first that Creative Director Rita Nazareno designed, and she did so with the intention of each angle giving a different look. This elegant bag is also designed to be ergonomic, contouring to the wearer's hip when worn on the arm. The construction has a unique weave merging leather and wicker to give the bag more structure. Carry it using the handles, or with the long shoulder strap included inside. Crafted with wicker, leather, and nylon; 29cm (L) x 22cm (H) x 8cm (W).
